As we all know DEEPAVALI is one of the famous festivals in Andhra. It is the festival of lights.. In this article, I would like to explain the celebration of Deepavali. From children to old people all will celebrate Diwali enthusiastically which brings color to their lives. It is the festival which removes darkness and bring color to the lives of people..

We all celebrate DIWALI every year. There is a specific reason why we are celebrating DIWALI. In Dwapara yugam, demon Narakasura used to treate people cruelly. people worshipped LORD Krishna to kill Narakasura.Lord Sri Krishna killed Demon Narakasura on the day of chaturdasi. People felt happily and praised Lord Krishna. So,every year on the day of NARAKA CHATURDASI we celebrate DEEPAVALI.. Due to the reason, people felt happy and burnt crackers. Also to send darkness and to bring brightness to their lives, on the next day of Amavasya people burnt crackers. Also we call the festival as Deepavali Amavasya. From that day onwards we are celebrating DEEPAVALI every year.

On the day of Diwali, we wear new clothes and go to temple. We cook different items of delicious food, sweets and hot. In the evening we do Goddess Lakshmi puja and light lamps . Then we eat sweets and burnt crackers. We burnt all types of crackers and celebrate whole night enthusiastically.

Care should be taken while burning crackers. We should wear only cotton clothes. Children should be very careful while burning.Crackers should not keep near fire.
