Siddeshwara kshetram is one of the most ancient temples in A.P. dedicated to Lord Shiva.This kshetram is famous for Lord Shiva.People from many places of the state visits this Holy place and gets blessed by Lord Shiva.

Siddeshwara Kshetram - The most ancient temple in Andhra Pradesh

This kshetram is located in Terala village in Durgi mandal in Guntur district.This temple is made of limestone and rocks.The floating of people is very less here.

After the small Mukhamantapa,Antaralas there are Garbhalayas.In Garbhalayas there are two Sivalingas.The temple is west faced. In Antarala Nandiswara is located infront of Lord Shiva.To south BramarambhikaDevi is located. There are the entrances from north and south into the middle Mantapa.The main entrance of the temple is on west side. In Rangamantapa to the north Lord Ganesh,Bhadrakali,VeeraBhadraswamy are located. In middle of the mantapa Nandiswarais located.

To the east of the main temple Vaayulingeswara,to the south Terala villge,to the west Rudragundam and to the north Gogarbham are located.To the north-east Brahmanaya lake is located.The people of Terala village keeps Vayulingeswara linga in the temple of Lord SriRama and do the poojas.

RudraGundam

To do the abhishekam to Lord Shiva ParasuRama built a small pond in front of main entrance.When he took water in to his hand the colour was appeared as red. Then he was shocked and went to Maharshi Ksatriya. He thoght that the pond must be helpful to devotees then the water became pure.

Gogarbham

To the north of the temple only at a distance of 10-12 feet a small pond is located.On that pond a small temple is built.to it's north a small entrance of 1 mt height is present.From this way there is an entrance to Rangamantapam.

Swamy Darshana way

Devotees have to take bath in Rudra Gundam then in Gogarbham.From the stepway they enter into the Rangamantapa then they enter into Antaralam and prays to BramarambhikaDevi.From there they do poojas to Mahashiva and gets blessed by Him.

Utsavas

On the Mahasiva Ratri the Swamy's kalyanam is celebrated in a very grand manner.Also on first Ekadashi,Karthika Pournamio utsavas are held.
