About the Chilkur Balaji Temple of Andhra Pradesh
Chilkur Balaji Temple
of Andhra Pradesh is one of the
famous temple of Andhra Pradesh
. As this temple is associated with Hinduism so this
Chilkur Balaji Temple
of Andhra Pradesh is also the
oldest Hindu temple in Andhra Pradesh
. This
Chilkur Balaji Temple
is located at the Banks of Osman Sagar Lake which is close to the capital of Andhra Pradesh
Hyderabad
. This temple was built in 1500s which is the time of Akkanna and Madanna who was the uncle of Bhakta Ramadas. This
Chilkur Balaji Temple
is also known as Visa God or
Visa Balaji Temple
.
Many tourists and devotees come to this famous temple of Andhra Pradesh. So it is also one of the
best tourist place in Andhra Pradesh
. About 70,000 to one lakh people come to this temple in every week except Friday and Saturday as the temple remains close in these two days of a week. Many tourist come from United States of America and also from the Western countries to visit the
Chilkur Balaji Temple
of Andhra Pradesh. The head priest of the Chilkur Balaji Temple of Andhra Pradesh is Gopala Krishna.
The main interesting thing of this
Chilkur Balaji Temple
of Andhra Pradesh is this temple does not accept any money from any one or from the devotees because there is no Hundi in the temple. The other name of the temple is
Visa Balaji Temple
because many devotees come here for the wish which it related with visa. So the other name of this temple is
Visa Balaji Temple
.
The main divine thing of the temple is they believe there is no second. We have
1 body and 1 soul. So everything is god. Nothing is second. In the 108 circumambulations they believe that the left letter "1" means the God because only god is right. Then the middle letter "0" means the whole world because the shape of the world is also like "0". Then the right letter "8" means Jivatma or the human body takes the time to come to the world from his or her mother.
They believe that God is one. There is no second. Everything is God and the whole world is God and God does not need any thing from the peoples or devotees. God only excepts the divine relation or the Devotion from the devotees.
There is a sacred book which is written by Bulemoni Venkateshwarlu on the Chilkur Balaji Temple. The name of the book is "Chilukuru Kshetra Charitra". For this book Bulemoni Venkateshwarlu awarded the prestigious Nandi Award in the year 2005.
